MOLECULAR CELLULAR & DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY
University of Colorado Boulder
I was raised in the Boulder, CO area where I later attended UCDenver for my undergraduate studies. There I received my BSc in Biology with a minor in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience. During my time there I worked as a lab assistant in Dr. Chris Phiel’s lab with focused research looking at how extracellular signals are transmitted within mammalian cells, specifically looking at the role of glycogen synthase kinase-3 (Gsk-3) signaling in inducing and maintaining pluripotency in stem cells / relating outcomes. In the Arnoult Lab my research is focused on how microgravity affects DNA repair. When not in the lab you could probably find me either cooking or tinkering with an engine.
